    In 2025, tourists spent €5.7 billion in Ireland, with Dublin and the South West as top destinations. Despite an 8% drop in overseas spending, North America accounted for 35% of revenue. Domestic tourism remained stable at €3.6 billion. Employment in the sector held steady at nearly 230,000 jobs, while overseas trips decreased by 3%.
