    Housing completions in Ireland fell nearly 4% in Q2 2026 compared to Q2 2025, totaling 8,823 units. Apartment completions dropped by 12.2%, with Dublin seeing a 16.4% decline. Despite this, the first half of 2026 recorded over a 10% increase in completions compared to last year, reaching 16,679 units, the highest since the financial crash.
