    Naga Munchetty leaves BBC Breakfast for radio role

    Naga Munchetty will depart BBC Breakfast after 17 years to host BBC Radio 5 Live’s breakfast show starting January 2027. She has been a prominent figure on BBC Breakfast for 12 years, initially joining as a finance reporter. Current hosts Rachel Burden and Rick Edwards will step down in December, paving the way for Munchetty's new role.
