    A six-week hosepipe ban has been implemented in six areas of Ireland, including Dublin and parts of Kildare and Meath, effective until August 26. Uisce Éireann urges reduced non-essential water use to protect supplies. Activities like watering gardens and washing vehicles are prohibited. Night-time restrictions affect 39 water supplies due to increased water usage amid warm weather and a Status Yellow high temperature warning.
