    Dublin museum employee charged with explosives

    Simon O’Donovan, a 44-year-old employee at the Collins Barracks National Museum in Dublin, has been remanded in custody after being charged with possession of explosives intercepted near the Irish border. He represented himself in court, where his bail application was denied due to objections from gardaí. O’Donovan is scheduled to appear again before the Special Criminal Court on Monday.
