    Personal injury claims continue to decline

    The number of personal injury claims has decreased significantly, falling over 35% since before the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the Injuries Resolution Board's latest reports. In 2025, over 20,000 claims were submitted, marking a 4% annual drop. The board reported savings of €88 million due to claims not progressing to litigation, despite an increase in the total value of awards.
