    Man Found Guilty of Cork Murder

    Daniel Hourigan, 33, has been found guilty of murdering 61-year-old Michael Foley in his Macroom home. Foley was discovered with 11 stab wounds and 19 slash wounds by a care worker on February 6, 2024. Hourigan claimed he was protecting his partner, who he alleged committed the murder. He will be sentenced on July 30.
