    DCC Energy to go private after £5.75 billion takeover

    DCC Energy has agreed to a £5.75 billion takeover by a consortium led by KKR and Energy Capital Partners. This deal follows previous rejected offers and includes additional payments related to the sale of DCC’s Nexora technology division. The acquisition is seen as providing shareholders with an attractive premium and cash certainty amid a trend of FTSE companies going private.
