    Court finds Brady's sentence too lenient

    The Court of Appeal has deemed Aaron Brady's three-year sentence for perverting the course of justice too lenient. Brady, serving a life sentence for the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe, admitted to actions undermining the trial process. The judge emphasized the need for deterrence and increased the sentence to five years, to commence after his robbery sentence.
