    Cornwall Woman Dies from Cocaine Overdose

    Sophie Joanne Ashwood, a 20-year-old from Bodmin, Cornwall, died from a cocaine overdose on October 3, 2025. An inquest revealed cocaine levels in her bloodstream were nearly two-and-a-half times the fatal limit. Sophie had a troubled childhood, mental health issues, and was diagnosed with an emotional personality disorder in 2023. Her death was ruled a suicide.
