    UK Sanctions Russian Scientists Linked to Salisbury Attack

    The UK Government has imposed sanctions on Russian scientists and research institutions involved in the development of the Novichok nerve agent used in the 2018 Salisbury attack. The measures include asset freezes and travel bans on seven individuals and two institutes, targeting those responsible for chemical weapons development, including the Epibatidine toxin linked to Alexei Navalny.
