    The Court of Appeal upheld the sentences of three men who gang-raped a vulnerable teenager at a Dublin beach in January 2016. Their sentences, ranging from nine to ten years, were deemed appropriate due to the serious nature of the crime and the planning involved. The men, aged 17 and 18 at the time, maintained their innocence, but their appeal was dismissed.
