    First Domestic Violence Refuge Secured in Roscommon

    Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan confirmed that a site has been secured for the first domestic violence refuge in Roscommon town. This initiative aims to address the lack of accommodations for domestic violence victims in the area, where currently there are none. A new safe house will soon increase the total number of safe homes in the county to three.
