    Local Authorities Must Pay Residential Zoned Land Tax

    Finance Minister Simon Harris announced that local authorities, including Wicklow County Council, are required to pay the Residential Zoned Land Tax (RZLT) on their housing land without exemptions. The tax, set at 3% of market value annually, aims to promote development on serviced residential land and prevent land hoarding by public bodies.
