    President signs law to lift Dublin Airport cap

    Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien has announced the lifting of the 32 million passenger cap at Dublin Airport following President Catherine Connolly's signing of new legislation. The cap, which was exceeded by 4 million passengers last year, has faced criticism from airlines and local residents. An environmental assessment will precede any amendments to the cap.
