    National Day of Commemoration held in Dublin

    The annual National Day of Commemoration ceremony took place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on Sunday. It honored Irishmen and Irishwomen who died in past wars or served with the UN. President Catherine Connolly and Taoiseach Micheál Martin attended, along with ex-servicemen and relatives of historical figures. A minute's silence was observed during the event.
