    NAMA to dissolve after 16 years of operation

    The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) will be dissolved tonight, marking the end of its 16-year tenure since its establishment during the financial crisis in 2009. NAMA managed property loans worth €72.3 billion, purchasing them for €31.8 billion. It returned a surplus of €5.6 billion to the state and facilitated over 44,500 new homes in Ireland.
