    No Mental Health Emergency Department Planned for Sligo

    The HSE has confirmed there are no plans for a dedicated emergency department for mental health in Sligo. Mental health emergencies will continue to be managed through existing services, including the Adult Liaison Psychiatry Team and Crisis Resolution Team. Additional support will be provided by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services liaison staff for young people in crisis.
