    Man jailed for domestic assaults and animal cruelty

    Dylan James Campbell, a 27-year-old from east Belfast, has been sentenced to 28 months in prison for multiple domestic assaults on his ex-partner and cruelty to her puppy. The court heard he committed non-fatal strangulation, common assault, and caused unnecessary suffering to an animal. He will also be subject to a five-year restraining order upon release.
