    Language rights group demands removal of anti-Irish flags

    Conradh na Gaeilge has urged the PSNI and the Department for Infrastructure to promptly remove offensive anti-Irish language flags displayed on lampposts in south Belfast. The flags, which include a Belfast City Council logo, have been condemned as attempts to intimidate Irish speakers. The council and DfI are collaborating with the PSNI to address the issue ahead of the upcoming Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
