    Hosepipe Ban Implemented in Parts of Ireland

    A hosepipe ban is now in effect in Dublin, South Tipperary, and parts of Kildare, Meath, Wexford, and Wicklow from July 16 to August 26, 2026. This ban restricts non-essential hosepipe use due to water shortages caused by climate change, population growth, and leaking pipes. Uisce Éireann is managing water distribution and repairs during this period.
