    Edward Gibbons is pushing for changes to manslaughter laws after his son, Ryan Weir Gibbons, was killed in a violent altercation on a bus in Kildare Town. Ryan Murphy, 19, received a five-year sentence for the crime, which Gibbons believes is inadequate. He has launched a petition and seeks a meeting with Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan to discuss sentencing reforms.
