    Community Raises Funds for SCA7 Research

    Eimear McAndrew, a 27-year-old from Cork, has been diagnosed with early-onset Spinocerebellar Ataxia 7 (SCA7), a rare neurological disease affecting 1 in 100,000 people. The community has raised over €105,000 for research and treatment, with a goal of €180,000. Funds will support Cure Rare Diseases and researchers in Holland, benefiting Eimear and others affected.
