    Children Rescued from Rip Currents at Tywyn Beach

    Last weekend, four or five children were rescued from rip currents at Tywyn beach in Gwynedd, leading to calls for improved safety measures. The Tywyn Coastguard noted the area's common rip currents and past fatalities, including a 2015 drowning incident. Local authorities are urged to enhance safety signage and provide dedicated lifeguards, as the beach currently only has seasonal wardens.
