    Boeing to Resume Certifying Airworthiness of Planes

    The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will allow Boeing to take responsibility for certifying its 737 Max and 787 aircraft starting next week. This decision follows a review indicating Boeing's safety checks are adequate. The FAA had previously taken control of 737 Max approvals in 2019 after crashes linked to software issues. Government inspectors will continue oversight of Boeing's factories.
