    Ann Widdecombe murder suspect not on Prevent list

    Counter-terrorism police are investigating the murder of former Conservative minister Ann Widdecombe, who was found dead at her home in Devon. A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of her murder and is now also suspected of terrorism-related offenses. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood confirmed the suspect was not known to the anti-terrorism Prevent programme.
