    5% Rise in Sexual Assault Treatment Unit Attendance

    Last year, attendances at sexual assault treatment units (SATUs) increased by 5%. Four out of six HSE-funded SATUs reported higher numbers, with the Rotunda SATU in Dublin experiencing the most significant rise. Despite staffing shortages affecting care delivery, 87% of urgent patients were seen within three hours. The report highlights the need for more resources to meet growing demand.
