    Northern Ireland's 855,000 households will not benefit from Prime Minister Andy Burnham's VAT cut on electricity bills until the EU provides approval. The cut, expected to save £45 annually, cannot be applied directly due to differing regulations. Instead, the UK Government will provide equivalent funding to support households while they await further developments regarding the Windsor Framework.
