    Tour de France final stage shortened due to wildfires

    Tour de France organisers have decided to shorten the final stage of the race due to wildfires in southwest France. Originally planned for 133km, the stage will now start on the Champs Elysees in Paris and cover only 89km. This change comes as authorities redeploy security personnel to assist in affected areas, with over 36,000 hectares burned and thousands evacuated.
