    Government advisers recommend that teenagers be offered the meningitis B vaccine on the NHS following recent outbreaks, including a serious incident in Kent that resulted in two deaths. The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation suggests administering the jab around age 15, with catch-up programs for those who missed it as infants. A one-off summer program is also in place for eligible young people.
