    Teenage girls and dog rescued off Co Down coast

    Two teenage girls and their dachshund were rescued after their inflatable dinghy was swept out to sea off the Co Down coast. The Newcastle RNLI responded to the emergency call and safely brought them back to Tyrella beach. The Coastguard advised caution when using inflatables at the beach due to strong winds. No medical attention was required for the girls or the dog.
