    Tankers Hit in Hormuz Amid Khamenei Mourning

    Two tankers were struck in the Strait of Hormuz, including an LNG carrier at risk of explosion, as large crowds mourned Iran's slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Qom. The Qatari tanker Al Rekayyat reported an engine room fire after being hit, while a Saudi-flagged tanker was also damaged. Initial reports suggest Iran may be responsible for the attacks.
