    Supreme Court rejects Trump's appeal in sex abuse case

    The Supreme Court has declined to hear Donald Trump's appeal against a jury's verdict that found him liable for sexually abusing E Jean Carroll and defaming her. The court's decision leaves intact a $5 million verdict and an additional $83.3 million awarded to Carroll after a second trial. Trump's lawyers argued the case was improperly influenced by other women's testimonies.
