    Medical Bureau Reports Surplus for 2025

    The Medical Bureau of Road Safety announced a surplus of €556,385 for 2025, following a deficit in 2024. Total income rose to €8.42 million, mainly from state grants. The bureau tested over 6,000 specimens for alcohol and drugs, maintaining 86 breath-testing instruments. Staff costs were the largest expense at €4.31 million, amid rising concerns over traffic incidents.
