    State agency forecasts 13,000 new homes by 2030

    The Land Development Agency (LDA) of Ireland aims to complete at least 13,000 new homes by 2030, in addition to the 3,215 already built. Currently, 6,500 homes are under construction across 20 developments. The agency plans to spend €1.5 billion on land acquisition and housing development this year, with a pipeline of nearly 30,000 homes in progress.
