    South East Water fined £30.5 million for failures

    South East Water has been ordered to pay £30.5 million following investigations by Ofwat into repeated supply failures affecting over 286,000 households in Kent and Sussex. The package includes a £22 million fine and aims to address service disruptions that left many without water. An independent monitor will oversee the company's performance improvement plan.
