    Ryanair Flight Diverts Due to Fuel Emergency

    Ryanair flight FR5448 from Sevilla to Nantes declared a fuel emergency mid-air and diverted to Brest after a runway blockage at Nantes Airport. The obstruction was caused by an engine failure of a departing aircraft. The flight entered a holding pattern before safely landing in Brest approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes after departure. Operations at Nantes resumed later that night.
