    Ryanair invests €50 million in Shannon Airport

    Ryanair has announced a €50 million investment in Shannon Airport, which will create over 400 jobs. The budget airline plans to expand its engineering operations, including a new four-bay aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) hangar and an Engineering Academy. Construction is expected to start in early 2027, with operations commencing in late 2028.
