    Increase in Road Deaths Reported in Louth

    Road fatalities in Louth have risen in the first half of 2026, with nine deaths compared to the same period in 2025. Louth County Council is discussing urgent safety improvements, particularly on the N33 Ardee Link road. A roadworks program is planned in Drogheda, including 19 low-cost safety interventions to enhance road safety.
