    An Audit Office report reveals that around £1.2 billion of Government funding for City and Growth Deals in Northern Ireland is unspent, risking significant investment. The report highlights that delays are eroding the real value of the funding, which decreases by approximately £37 million annually due to inflation. Only a small number of projects have reached operational status since 2018.
