    The UK's pension triple lock, which guarantees annual increases based on inflation, wage growth, or 2.5%, is projected to significantly raise public spending. The Office for Budget Responsibility warns that without intervention, debt could reach 300% of GDP by 2075-2076. The measure is expected to add £15.5 billion annually to pension costs by 2030.
