    €566,000 Allocated to Community Projects in Ireland

    Over €566,000 has been allocated to 34 community projects in Mayo and Roscommon through the North Connacht Community Benefit Fund, linked to the EirGrid North Connacht 110 kV Project. The funding supports communities affected by new electricity infrastructure, which will supply power to 150,000 homes. Construction is expected to conclude by 2026, with energisation by 2028.
