    Patients Wait Nearly 10 Years for Appointments

    Sinn Féin's Health Spokesperson David Cullinane revealed that many patients in Ireland are waiting over 500 weeks for outpatient appointments, particularly for psychology-related conditions. Currently, over 200,000 individuals are on waiting lists, with 44,000 awaiting psychology appointments. The Minister for Health acknowledged rising demand and stated efforts are underway to reduce waiting times.
