    North Belfast murder accused remanded in custody

    A 41-year-old man, Thomas McCauley, has been charged with the murder of Paul Mackin, 44, and other offenses including grievous bodily harm and false imprisonment. McCauley appeared in Belfast Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody. The charges stem from an incident on July 20, where Mackin later died in hospital. The case is adjourned to August 21.
