    Dayana Patino, trapped under rubble after two powerful earthquakes in Venezuela, credited her newborn son, Juan David, with motivating her to survive. The quakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5, resulted in at least 1,700 confirmed deaths. Patino managed to call for help after hearing her brother's voice, leading to their rescue. Her husband expressed joy upon finding their son alive.
