    A recent survey by Worldpanel for Nivea Sun reveals that over 60% of adults in England, Scotland, and Wales have not purchased sunscreen this year, despite heatwaves. Only 56% bought sunscreen in the last two years, with a notable increase in SPF50 purchases. Cancer Research UK warns that insufficient sunscreen use contributes to rising melanoma cases, projected to exceed 26,000 annually by 2040.
