    Derek Boyd found guilty of murder in Dublin

    Derek Boyd, 31, has been found guilty of murder by a Central Criminal Court jury after fatally stabbing Mark Carroll, 34, at his home in north Dublin on June 9, 2024. Boyd was already serving a suspended sentence for the manslaughter of his sister. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, including assaulting Carroll's girlfriend.
