    Louth arrest after less-lethal force used

    A man armed with a knife was arrested in Co Louth after gardaí employed 'less-lethal force' during a public order incident. The event occurred around 9:30 PM in a Dundalk car park, where gardaí attempted to de-escalate the situation. After the man failed to comply, a round from a 40mm less-lethal option was discharged, allowing for his disarmament and arrest.
