    Architect Appeals Public Order Conviction Successfully

    Martin Neasy, a 75-year-old architect from Louth, successfully appealed a public order conviction and a €1,000 fine related to an incident at a roadblock on June 25, 2025. The Dundalk Circuit Court acknowledged Neasy's good character and deemed the incident out of character, applying the Probation Act, which requires a donation to the Special Olympics if unpaid.
