    Man Sentenced for Shooting Innocent Bystander

    Daniel Lawless was sentenced to 18-and-a-half years in prison for shooting David Forbes in a case of mistaken identity in Croxteth, Liverpool. Lawless, armed with a shotgun, shot Forbes in both legs while he was walking to a chip shop. Forbes, who had no connection to Lawless, suffered serious injuries and ongoing psychological harm.
